Narrative Therapy Salon

Hi folks!

I co-organize a Narrative Therapy Salon along with Julia Wallace, LCSW.  Every month a group of us get together and discuss narrative therapy topics using video, audio recordings, consultation, or articles.  If you or someone you know is interested in narrative approaches then send me an email and I'll add you to our list.

Our next Narrative Salon will be held Monday Jan. 14 from 7-9pm at Natasha Shapiro's place near Rockridge BART in Oakland.  I'll send out the address closer to the date to all who send me an email RSVP.
We're planning to start the conversation by discussing the last third of an audiotape of Michael White presenting on the topic of "Multi-Storied Lives".  This section of the presentation features Albert Ellis, founder of Rational-Emotive Therapy, giving his appreciations and critiques of narrative therapy.  There is also an interesting Q&A between the audience and Michael.

Come by and join other people interested in discussing narrative work!  Bring a snack if it's convenient.
