Developing as a Therapist Group

Jodi Perelman, MFT is forming a new group and she's set the date for it:

DEVELOPING AS A THERAPIST
a group for MFT Interns and psychology graduate students

Becoming a therapist is a rewarding and challenging process that can be enhanced by an atmosphere of safety, camaraderie, emotional support and intellectual exploration. This is a practical and depthful group, providing support for interns and graduate students in addition to current supervision and clinical work.

The group will include:
* useful and engaging readings
* information on the licensing and exam process
* exercises for increasing comfort and skill with client work
* bringing your own unique expression to the work

Thursdays 10:30am-12 noon, beginning September 11 for 5 weeks. Please contact Jodi at (415) 435-7559 to register and for more information.

Jodi Perelman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in the Potrero Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. She received a Masters degree from CIIS and had a variety of internships over the years, including private practice, school counseling and community mental health. The idea for this group came from her own experience and those of friends and colleagues as they navigated the school and licensing process.
